When I Cross-Over!

Sir Barton won the Triple Crown
When he crossed three finish lines
The crowds cheered for the horse
Johnny Loftus beamed with pride.

When I cross over to the other side
Give a ‘shout’ for joy!
I finally won the race of life
My sinful body destroyed.

Throw away my prescription drugs,
I won’t need them anymore.
The bondage of flesh is
Revoked through death
My spirit will be
With the Lord ~
