STATEMENT OF FAITH
RHYMING BIBLE TRUTHS MINISTRIES

BASED ON GODS INSPIRED WORD, THE BIBLE

GOD:

We believe that God, perpetually exist in three persons, the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost. the Father is Spirit, the Son is the Word, and the Holy Ghost is our teacher (comforter).  (Genesis 1: 1 Daniel 9: 25-27 Matthew 28: 19 John 1: 1, 14, 18, 51  ICorinthians 2: 13 Hebrews 1: 8)

Angels:

We believe that GOD created the angels before He created the Universe; the angels were  sinless, spiritual, holy beings, created to reside before the throne of GOD, from where they are sent out as ministering spirits, to minister to those who shall be heirs of salvation.  (Matthew 1: 20-25 Luke 15: 10 Jude 9 Revelation 5: 2; 7: 11)

Fallen Angels:

We believe that “Lucifer, son of the morning,” was the highest ranking angel in heaven, until out of pride he rebelled against GOD, and he influenced one third of the other angels to follow him, this fallen angel is the originator of sin (evil),  he said: “I will be like the most High;”  Satan and the demons who fell with him will be punished in the end; some of the fallen angels are already in everlasting chains under darkness until the judgment of the great day.  (Isaiah 14: 12-17 Ezekiel 28: 11-19 (A lamentation to the king of Tyrus; this is one of the (few) scriptures that gives the origin of the Devil and of evil ) Luke 8: 30 ITimothy 3: 6  IIPeter 2: 4 Jude 6 Revelation 20: 1-3)

Creation:

We believe that GOD made heaven and earth, and everything in it out of nothing, GOD said: “Let there be,” and it was so.  He created the herbs, the animals, and every living creature on the face of the earth; then GOD created the man Adam out of the dust of the ground; GOD breathed the breath of life into the mans nostrils, He then gave him dominion over everything in the earth.  (Genesis 1 & 2 Malachi 2: 10 John 1: 3 Hebrews 11: 3)

Mankind:

We believe that man was created in the image and after the likeness of GOD; man was created to live forever in Holy Communion and obedience to GOD.  (Genesis 1: 26-31 Matthew 19: 4 Romans 8: 29 ICorinthians 15: 21, 47 Colossians 3: 10, 24 Titus 3: 7 Revelation 21 & 22)

God’s Covenant with Adam:

We believe that God made a covenant with the first man Adam; GOD told the man that he could eat from any of the trees in the garden, with the exception of one, the ‘tree of the knowledge of good and evil,’ ‘for the day that you eat of it you shall surely die’ God said.  (Genesis 2: 9, 16, 17; 3: 5)

The Broken Covenant:

We believe that the first man Adam broke God’s covenant with him, when he ate from the forbidden tree.  (Genesis 3: 5, 22-24 Romans 5: 12)

Paradise Lost:

We believe that eternal life (with God)  was lost to man when Adam disobeyed God, by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; death entered the world, and Adam and his wife Eve were cast out of the garden; the couple had to go outside of God’s presence. (Genesis 3: 24 Luke 23: 43 John 14: 6 Revelation 2: 7)

God’s plan of restoration:

We believe that God began His plan of restoration (sanctification),  before expelling the couple from the garden, when He said to the serpent  (Satan),  “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.” Genesis 3: 15.  (Isaiah 53 Romans 8 IIThessalonians 2: 13; 3: 3)

God’s (Unconditional) Promise to Abraham (the Hebrew) and his seed:

We believe that Abraham’s seed is two-fold; first natural, and then spiritual, God promised Abraham that he would become the Father of a great nation, that nation is Israel, (three hundred thousand square miles of land),  and Christ Jesus became the spiritual seed of Abraham therefore whoever is ‘in Christ’ is Abraham’s (spiritual) seed.  (Genesis 12: 1-8; 15: 18-21 Deuteronomy 30 Romans 4: 16-18)

God’s Chosen:

We believe that Abraham’s (natural)  seed (Jacob’s sons),  were chosen by God to be an illustration for all nations, God changed Jacob’s name to Israel, and his son’s became the twelve tribes of Israel, God assigned a portion of the land to each of Jacob’s sons; that promise is everlasting.  (Genesis 32: 27, 28; 46: 8-34 Psalms 14: 7 Isaiah 4 Jeremiah 23: 7, 8 Zechariah 2: 8-10 IITimothy 2: 10 Revelation 7: 1-8)

Virgin Birth:

We believe that man is born into sin because of the first man Adam, and that animal sacrifices only covered (kasah),  our sin, it did not take it away, we needed a redeemer, once and for all, so God sent His Only Son  (the Word),  to take away the sin of the world.   Christ Jesus was born of a virgin (Mary) He was conceived by the Holy Ghost; because Jesus’ father is God, He was not born with a sin nature (He was not conceived from the seed of a man).   (Genesis 3: 15 Isaiah 7: 14; 9: 6, 7 Matthew 1: 18-25 Luke 2: 11, 12 John 1: 14 Hebrews 2: 16)

Death burial and resurrection of Christ:

We believe that the Word became flesh (God incarnate);  Jesus was therefore qualified to be the sin sacrifice for all mankind, for God said: ‘the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life,’ Jesus died in our place, and He rose from the dead in three days,  death had no hold on Christ Jesus, because He was without sin, Praise God! He is our redeemer.  (Isaiah 53: 7-12 Matthew 27: 57-60 John 2: 19 Luke 4: 20 Acts 8: 32 Romans 5: 6-21 ICorinthians 15: 20-23 Ephesians 1: 20 ITimothy 2: 5, 6 Hebrews 13: 12)

The Great Commission:

We believe that Christ Jesus commissioned His Apostles to go out into all the world and preach/teach the Gospel, and that all (true) believers are commissioned to spread the good news that salvation is a free gift to all who believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He became one of us, through His virgin birth, He came here to die for our sins, so that we might have eternal life, this was God’s predetermined plan for all mankind.  (Isaiah 61: 1 Matthew 28: 18-20 Acts 2 ICorinthians 4 IITimothy 4:2)

Salvation:

We believe that salvation is free to anyone who believes that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He was born of a virgin, and He died on the cross for the sin of any one who asks to be saved.  (Accept Christ and the Holy Spirit will teach you the rest.)  (Psalms 3:8 Isaiah 25: 8, 9; 43: 11 John 3: 16, 17, 36 Romans 3: 23-30; 5:15-21; 10: 9 Ephesians 1: 11; 2: 5, 6 IIThessalonians 2:13 IITimothy 1: 9 Titus 3: 5-15 Revelation 3: 20)

The Rapture:

We believe that one day Christ Jesus will appear in the clouds to call out His bride (Church),  to meet Him in the air, all those who are in Christ, both the dead and the living will be changed to new immortal bodies, we will be ‘caught up’ to heaven for our wedding Day.  (ICorinthians 15: 23, 52 IThessalonians 4: 16-18; 5: 4-28 (we are “of” the day, we won’t be here when night fall) IIThessalonians 2: 1-6 Revelation 3: 21, 22)

The Judgment Seat of Christ – Rewards:

We believe that heaven is the gift of God, and that we will be rewarded according to the works that we preformed in our mortal bodies (here on earth).  (Romans 14: 10 IICorinthians 5: 10)

The Seven Years of Tribulation:

We believe that those who did not believe and accept Christ Jesus, will be ‘left behind’ there will be seven years (a week of years),  of trouble, the likes of has never been seen before.  [Armageddon Rev 16: 16] (Isaiah 54 Jeremiah 30: 7 Daniel 9: 27 Matthew 24: 15-21 Romans 2: 8, 9 IThessalonians 5: 1-3, 7 Revelation 9: 11; 11: 1-3; 12: 12, 14; 14: 3)

(At the end of the ‘Great Tribulation)
Revelation 16: 15-21;
17: 14; 19: 11-21.

The Return of Christ Jesus:

We believe that after hearing the cries of His chosen (the Jews), Christ Jesus (their Messiah),  will return to earth with a vengeance, to judge, and to rule.  (Zechariah 12: 9-14; 14: 5 Matthew 24: 30, 31, 36-43 IIThessalonians 2: 8 Revelation 1: 7; 19: 11-21)

Satan bound for 1000 years:

We believe that, that old dragon, Satan the devil, will be bounded, sealed and thrown into the bottomless pit, until the thousand years are completed.  (Revelation 20: 1-3)

The Tribulation Martyred, and the Old Testament Saints:

We believe that in that day, those who accepts Christ, and are martyred (during the great tribulation),  along with the Old Testament saints, will rise from the dead, and enter into the millennial kingdom. (Job 19: 25-29 ICorinthians 15: 13 Revelation 20: 4)

Those who make it through the Tribulation, and accepts Christ:

We believe that these are the ones who will see Christ (with His angels and His bride),  return to earth in glory, they will bow down, and confess that Christ Jesus is Lord; these people will live in peace and harmony on earth for 1000 years.  (Revelation 1: 7; 14: 7- 14) [Don’t take the mark of the beast]

The Millennium:

We believe that there will be one thousand years of peace here on earth, Christ will rule and reign over David’s throne in Jerusalem.  (Job 19: 25-29 Revelation 5: 10; 20: 4, 6)

Satan released from bondage for a short time:

We believe that at the end of the one thousand years Satan will be loosed for a short time, during that short time he will manage to deceive some into following him again, even with Christ Himself on earth, some will refuse to ‘believe.’  [Satan’s last rebellion]  (Revelation 20: 7-9)

Satan’s End:

We believe that Satan will (at last) be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, along with the beast, and the false prophet, they will be tormented day and night throughout eternity.  (Hebrews 2: 14 Revelation 20: 10)

The Great White throne:

We believe that the dead, great and small, anyone who died through out history, who did not accept God’s mercy will be judged according to their deeds, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”  ICorinthians 15: 26.  (Psalms 9: 17 Revelation 20: 11-15)

New heaven and New earth

We believe that after all these things, old things will pass away and all things will become new; there will be eternal peace in heaven and on earth.  The New Jerusalem will come down out of heaven; it will be a little higher than the New Earth...the earth dweller will have to come up to the New Jerusalem in order to worship the LORD.  [Let the Church and the Saints say yes!]  (Isaiah 66: 22 Daniel 7: 13, 14 Revelation 21 & 22)

IITimothy 3: 16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

Amen!
