Hell is a scary thought; and sadly…Some pastors have gone from one extreme to the other (on the topic). They’re telling their parishioners that hell doesn’t exist, because (in their minds) the idea of eternal damnation makes their members uncomfortable. The reverend Leroy’s of the world are feeding their followers comfort food instead of Bible Truths. Deniers of Hell (the place): Would rather hear that GOD’S going to spontaneously save them, no matter what they do or how they chose to live their lives because: GOD is Love. That’s right…they’re good at putting the ultimate accountability for their own actions on the LORD! The Bible pronounces that we’re lost until we’re found: Thanks to Adam…! —How to avoid eternal damnation in the place referred to as Hell by some people— Avoiding hell is similar to the concept of detouring to avoid a condemned bridge. How do we know that a bridge has been labeled dangerous? We know because the City or the State has inspected it and placed barriers and signs around it to keep people out of danger. Some people use excuses as to why they might not know that a bridge is dangerous. No one told me…I didn’t see the sign…I’m blind etc. Those same excuses will be used by nonbelievers when they face GOD at the Great White Throne Judgement.
