The First "Actor!" 

No one listened to the message,
God appointed Ezekiel to give.
You see, false prophets
Were telling the ‘captives’
What they wanted to hear.
So, Ezekiel became an ‘actor,’
A silent movie star;
The prophet had to ‘show and tell’
The inspired Word of God.

Sometimes I get dejected
When my verse fall on deaf ear;
My firm belief in Bible ‘Truths’
No one is anxious to hear.
The LORD commanded Ezekiel, the priest,
To warn HIS chosen few,
‘If they don’t listen to what you say…
Shame on them,
Not you.”

Ezekiel 1: 3
“The Word of the LORD came expressly unto
Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of
the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the
Hand of the LORD was there upon him.”
